There is no better way to start the day than with a tasty bowl of granola and yoghurt. This delicious slow-release breakfast will keep you full and energised until lunchtime.

Step 1 - Pre-heat the oven to 150C/300F.

Step 2 - Mix 1 teaspoon of vegetable oil, 1 tablespoon of honey, 100ml of maple syrup and ½ teaspoon of ground cinnamon in a large bowl.

Step 3 - Core and chop 3 apples and grate 1 coconut.

Step 4 - Add the apples and grated coconut to the bowl along with 150g of rolled oats, 25g of sunflower seeds, 50g of almonds, 25g of pecan nuts, 25g of pumpkin seeds and 100g of raisins before mixing thoroughly.

Step 5 - Spread the contents of the bowl onto a baking tray and cook in the centre of the oven for 15 minutes.

Step 6 - Spoon the warm granola into a bowl and add a generous serving of low fat Greek yoghurt.
