Shortly after experiencing success with one of its unique label designs, Kent-based food supplement manufacturer FORZA will now be entered for a PrintWeek Packaging Award for one of its box designs. The box in question has been used to contain a vacuum packed bag of slimming tablets. The supplement firm already sells Eph 30+ in bottles of 100 and 250 tablets, but has now decided to add a mighty 1000 tablets box version to its product line. Each box contains more than a year’s supply of the energy-boosting diet formula.

The box will be submitted to the PrintWeek Awards 2013 by Nottingham-based firm Sherwood Press, who used their specialist printing knowledge and expertise to support the FORZA design and produce a high quality piece of packaging. When asked about his thoughts on the finished design, FORZA Brand Manager Nigel Davison said: “It was a real pleasure to work with the team at Sherwood Press and they have made it easier for us to fulfil our own ambition of ensuring that our products look better than anything else on the shelves. “In addition to their fantastic embossing and foil blocking techniques, we were very impressed with the company’s exceptionally high standards in all aspects of print production.” The product itself will retail at £80 and provide customers with more than a year’s supply of slimming tablets. For many years, Eph 30+ has served as an ephedrine alternative but has never been available in ‘ephedrine sized’ quantities.


Lee Smith, FORZA Managing Director, is confident that the 1000 tablet version will appeal to most customers. He said: “Eph 30+ customers are very loyal and we regularly see repeat buys.
