A recent poll by FORZA Supplements about eating habits has highlighted some alarming results which found that hit TV shows including X Factor and Strictly Come Dancing make you fat.
Dieters are said to be far more likely to lapse watching shows which can be enjoyed as a family. Six out of ten (62%) viewers admitted to eating in front of the television even when not hungry. A further 58% admitted they would share a partner’s snacks ‘just because they are there.’
And a staggering 82% of slimmer’s said they were less likely to snack if they were watching programmes alone. The two worst shows for weight gain were X Factor and Strictly Come Dancing. Other programmes which slimmer’s should avoid include The Great British Bake Off and soaps like Coronation Street and EastEnders.
