Ray Quinn Wins Dancing on Ice

Ray Quinn saved his best for last as he topped the leaderboard with a maximum score to become the ultimate winner of ITV’s prime time talent show Dancing on Ice. The actor and musician, who made a name for himself on The X Factor, stole the show with a hat-trick of perfect routines that gained him a whopping 80 points.

Ray, who won the Dancing on Ice crown in 2009, was back on the show for a second attempt to win the coveted winner's trophy with his with professional partner Maria Filippov. And stunning rendition of the Bolero saw the Liverpudlian star marching to victory over rivals Beth Tweddle and Hayley Tamaddon. Ray was crowned the overall winner by Olympic medallists Jayne Torvill and Christopher Dean, before declaring: “I’m buzzing”. His win proved that the bookmakers were correct in making him the odds-on favourite to win the competition. A spokesperson for Paddy Power, who had priced him at 1/4 to take the final trophy, said: “The writing has been on the wall for the Ray Quinn win since the very beginning.” Judge Jason Gardner summed up Ray’s success by saying: “Some people are talented, other people are stars. Ray, you’re a star.”

And winner Ray, 25, has every reason to celebrate after revealing that he lost two stone in order to take part in the show. The West End star swapped Chinese takeaways and cans of lager for healthy eating, regular gym sessions and FORZA diet supplements - and the results are outstanding. Cutting out potatoes, pasta and bread through the Caveman Diet which is high in protein and fresh veg, Ray dropped 28lbs in just eight weeks. The former X Factor star, who is 5ft 9”, went from a bloated 14st to a lean and ripped 12st. His body fat has also fallen from 20% down to an impressive 8%.

Ray said: “When I got the call from ITV asking me to take part in Dancing on Ice I knew I had to take action. “I had 10-12 weeks to lose two stone, and I was so determined I reached my target in eight weeks. Dancing on Ice was definitely the kick start that I needed.” Ray also said that a key part of his diet success was taking FORZA T5 Super Strength fat burning supplement. The pills claim to help boost physical endurance, muscle development, burn fat and reduce fatigue. He said: “FORZA T5 helped to reduce my snacking cravings, increased fat burning and also provided energy and protein. “I took two capsules most mornings - these kick start the fat burning process and gave me more tone and muscle definition.” He also took them in the mid-afternoon to prevent snacking and cravings.
