At the beginning of her journey, Nadia felt out of shape, fed up and bloated. She made unhealthy food choices and didn’t realise what she needed to change to achieve a greater figure ready for summer. Forza Supplements stepped in and Nadia undertook a six week Shake it Slim Body Blitz combining diet and exercise to change her situation.

Now, Nadia is exercising regularly, making healthier choices (even when out with friends!) and has a healthy balance with the help of FORZA’s Shake It Slim. Below is how she lost a stone, sent her energy levels sky high and even began to enjoy her workouts!

Nadia's Journey

Nadia started week 1 highly motivated! She began to introduce Forza’s food supplements into her diet to ensure her body received the correct nutrients while restricting her food intake and to really boost the impact of her workouts. Nadia began to regularly consume omega 3 fish oil soft gels, vitamin D3 soft gels, activated charcoal and the FORZA detox formula at breakfast and continued to do so for her 6-week body blitz. Using the recommended Shake It Slim diet, Nadia used her meal replacements daily, which resulted in a 4lb loss in her very first week!

By week 2, Nadia was eating from 8am to 8pm 5 days per week, with a 16-hour fasting period on weekend days and not eating until lunch times. As well as this, three HIIT workout session were now part of her weekly routine, as well as two home sessions. Even though Nadia went to the Coachella festival, she remained in balance, taking her handy Shake It Slim single serving sachets and FORZA shaker along for the ride. Nadia really began to get into cooking home made meals this week, explaining the recipe on her YouTube diary. By the end of week 2, Nadia had successfully lost 8lbs! Amazing!

“This was my week of Coachella! It did set my diet into a difficult space but if you are going on a work trip or festival remember to keep Shake It Slim sachets handy as well as a bottle of water. It will really help you avoid fattening fast food”

During week 3, Nadia was still maintaining 3 HIIT sessions per week with two home sessions, and again faced the challenge of filming in Ireland. She managed to fit her diet around her busy trip even while away with friends and used the Raspberry K2 capsules for an energy boost when filming lasted the day. Shake It Slim in strawberry mint quickly became her favourite meal replacement flavour, a delicious shake which is perfect for the sunny summer weather. After countless HIIT sessions and tips from her personal trainer, Nadia began to tone muscles and improve her endurance levels.

Week 4 saw Nadia really vamp up her effort levels and relied on FORZA’s weight loss capsules to really stop the hunger setting in during the day. Taking these 30 minutes before each meal kept her fuller for longer. Home workouts were tough, while boxing workouts were even tougher, but Nadia really found an exercise she loved! Nadia shared her top 5 diet tips with her followers this week also, see these below!

Nadia’s top tips

  1. Turn Off the TV and step Away From the computer Multitasking while you eat means you won’t be as satisfied, a recent study in the American Journal of Clinical Nutrition found. Some of the study’s participants ate while playing computer solitaire, while others ate without distraction. The results? The game-players were worse at remembering what they had eaten—and felt significantly hungrier afterward.
  2. Drink wisely at the end of a hot day, it’s easy to down a few frozen margaritas or chilled sangrias just to stay cool. But that’s packing on hundreds of calories. If you want a cocktail, instead try tequila and soda on the rocks. When a drink doesn’t take like a Slurpee (we’re looking at you, frozen mango-strawber-rita!) you sip more slowly and take in far fewer calories.
  3. Get a Good Night’s Sleep! In a recent study, ten overweight volunteers went on a diet while sleeping 8.5 hours a night for two weeks and just 5.5 hours per night for another couple of weeks. (During the day, their diet and activity levels were the same.) In both cases, the average weight loss was 6.5 pounds, but when the group slept less, they lost less fat (1.3 pounds versus 3 pounds) and felt hungrier.
  4. Eat Spicy Capsaicin, the compound that gives chili peppers their heat, speeds metabolism, according to a recent study led by David Heber, a professor of medicine and director of the Centre for Human Nutrition at UCLA. Participants received either placebo pills or flavourless capsaicin supplements daily for four weeks. The supplement group burned more fat for several hours after a meal, and they burned about 100 to 200 more calories per day, says Heber. Bonus: Spicy foods may trigger a feeling of fullness sooner than bland foods.
  5. Plan Your Meals Thinking through exactly what and when you’re going to eat your meals can make you more likely to stick to your diet goals, according to a study in Psychology and Health. In a study designed to encourage healthy eating, all participants ate more fruit for a week, but those who made a concrete plan, wrote it down, and visualized how they were going to carry out the action—when, where, and how they would buy, prepare, and eat fruit—ate twice as much fruit as those who simply tried harder.

During week 5, Nadia took part in a live workout to show just how hard she was working towards her goals. She was over the moon to see the amount of people following her journey and the messages of support! It is fantastic to be part of a community, it really motivates everyone. To maintain the looks of her fancy facials, Nadia used Regime London deluxe collagen to improve the skins surface, as well as boost hair strength and nails. These are also great for consuming while exercising frequently as it helps to improve joint health which is essential when pushing your body to its limits!

Nadia moved onto her final week – Week 6, and what a journey Nadia had taken! The last week was packed full of Shake It Slim, with meal replacements and K2’s playing a major role in the final week. In total, she lost a stone and 7.5 inches in total – amazing!
